ANALYSIS
To better understand the local living conditions the student harvested various climate data for Tasiilaq. This was a group assignment where the students collaborated in groups 3 by 3. The topics was:

Seasonal wheel: Study annual Tasiilaq normal for precipitation, temperature, solar conditions and snow depth - Visualize this in a seasonal wheel and compare it to the seasonal wheel for Tromsø.

Wind: Study wind data for Tasiilaq including the strong katabatic winds. Look at the wind rose for Tasiilaq and analyze the relation between the built environment and wind directions. How does the predominant wind affect the built environment directly and how does it move and pile up snow?

Climate change: Try to find out as much as possible about the already manifest climate changes and predictions for future climate conditions. How is Tasiilaq already affected and what are the potential future scenarios regarding; everyday life, biodiversity, building tradition, industry?
